What is CoConnect?
CoConnect is a web application that pairs you one-on-one with another person for a real-time conversation. When you "tap in," we match you with another available user at random. Each session starts masked — you chat through an animated character and text only. As trust builds, either person can invite the other to unlock voice, and then video — and each layer activates only when you both accept. You can skip, block, or report at any time, and nothing is recorded by default.
How it works
- Tap in — get matched instantly with another masked user for a 1:1 chat.
- Text first — talk through an animated character; both of you stay anonymous.
- Unlock voice — send an invite; voice turns on only when you both agree.
- Unlock video — same mutual-consent gate before any camera goes live.
- Stay in control — skip, block, or report any time. No always-on recording.
